Preparation of Chloroquine Stocks

Our lab uses chloroquine to block lysosomal acidification in cell lines only. This is not an appropriate preparation for human consumption. For information regarding chloroquine related to COVID-19 please see the FDA Fact Sheet for Healthcare Providers
Materials
- Chloroquine. Sigma catalog# C6628-25G
Protocol
- Dissolve 0.129g in 10 mL of sterile ddH2O
- Filter sterilize through a 0.22 um filter
- Aliquot to 50 uL in tissue culture freezer
- Discard thawed aliquots after ~ 2 months.
