Ordering Prescriptions-University of Michigan

This protocol only works within the University of Michigan Health System (UMHS).

  1. Download the Duo Mobile app from the app store on your mobile device.
  2. Follow this link to register your mobile device. [1]
  3. Using the Dell desktop computer, in the bottom right corner, click on the Michigan logo to VPN into the Michigan Medical System.
    1. You will be prompted to enter your Michigan credentials. Once you enter, you will get an alert from the Duo Mobile app in the way you set up in steps 1 and 2.
  4. Once through the security, follow this link [2] to log into the Michigan Medicine ordering requisition using your level-2 password.
  5. Search for the pharmaceutical you need, Add to cart, and Check Out.
    1. For more a detailed how to, locate the Pharmacy folder on the desktop of the computer and access the Clinic Reqs Instructions Word document.
